For thousands of years the Vatican had held great power and Christianity had increased copiously around the world. People needed hope and someone to turn to in their greatest hours of need. Religion had been the key to helping those desperate souls.
With an ever changing world, increase in violence and global awareness, cynicism began to spread like an unstoppable plague across the land. People began to question their believes and turn away from the church.
The Pope realized that something had to be done or Christianity would become a thing of the past. Every day he was inundated by desperate letters from followers asking for support. When would the savior finally return to save humanity once more from its sins?
When would he help end the world’s suffering and change the world for the better?
The Pope loved God’s children deeply and felt something had to be done to improve society. He arranged a meeting with the leaders of Sony, N.A.S.A and Bill Gates to design a strategy plan to bring peace to our planet.
The Pope had great influence and was able to provide the necessary funding for the project while the others had the know how to craft his vision.
After only ten years the PSEYE was created. Similar to its predecessor the Sony Playstation. This was a games consol but unlike any other since it had a hidden function that made it so much more.
Not only did the PSEYE boast the most advanced graphics and game play but it came standard with a system similar to motion capture that enabled the user to have full control over the characters, vehicles and made the experience unlike anything you’d ever seen.
The purpose of the PSEYE wasn’t gaming. The idea was to create an army of un manned robots that would be able to stop crime and wars. The advantage of this technology was that these robots could be controlled at a distance and never require an actual pilot within the cockpit. This meant that no soldier would ever be killed in battle or could be caught and tortured by the enemy.
That is when the game Mobyfighter was released to the public. It became an all time favorite since it was a little like playing Final Fantasy with the added bonus that it was played on the internet and incorporated the interactive friend system available on facebook. In other words it was the perfect place for gamers or just anyone to hang out and interact with others.
The idea was to incorporate special missions within the game that would allow the Vatican to stop wars and crime by sending out their special robot troops and have the troops be controlled by the people playing Mobyfighter.
Of course those playing the game never knew what they were doing. They just thought they were simply playing a videogame. Instead they were contributing to world peace.
The reason for this deception was also for security reasons. By choosing random gamers from any country there was no way that anyone could trace back to who was actually piloting the bots.
This ensured the safety of the individuals playing the videogame.
The Mobyfighter was a robot that carried weapons that could not actually harm or kill human beings. The objectives of the missions were just to collect all the weapons that could be found in the world and destroy them without killing any civilians in the process.
Finally playing videogames and helping your community became one, thus allowing for a kinder, friendlier world.
