Live from the Finish Line in Santa Monica, my HD camera captured this exciting LA Marathon Results Video of the top men and women at the end of their 26-mile journey from the Stadium to the Sea in the pouring rain. Congrats to Markos Geneti (Ethiopia) and Burunesh Daba (Ethiopia) for their wins, and Nicholas Kamakye (Kenya) and Amy Hastings (USA) for your second place finishes. Everyone who got out there is a winner for making the journey. As the 20,000+ thousand runners crossed the finish line, umbrella crowds cheered and Randy Newman’s song, “I Love LA” was the ironic theme song on one of the worst rain days in LA Marathon history.
As a Dating Coach and Author, who helps people build a Great Life to attract Great Love, the LA Marathon runner dedication (especially in the extreme rain) is a great reminder of the power of passion. By doing what you love, the confidence sex appeal is irresistible, and can naturally attract quality people and things into your life. Although Markos Geneti walked away with $125,000 and 2011 Honda Insight as the top winner, he got much more out of the LA Marathon.
From the runners to the fans, what made this LA Marathon so inspiring was the extreme dedication despite the wild weather. While many spectators posted rain complaints on Facebook from their comfy couch, the marathon runners did the unthinkable with a smile. It was one of the stormiest days in LA Marathon history with over 2” of rain, thousands needing to be evaluated for hypothermia, and 25 transported to local hospitals.
When people ask, what’s the secret to finding great love, I always say, it’s a little luck, timing and a lot of passion. If you’re on top of your game (like the LA Marathon Runners who trained so hard for this event), you will naturally attract high quality people and things into your life. Whether you’re into basketball, photography, yoga or cooking, it doesn’t matter. What is most important is that you love it!
If you don’t have a hobby or job that gets you really excited in the morning, it’s so worth finding one. By following my passion to help singles build a Great Life to attract Great Love, I’ve been fortunate to meet inspirational people and attend amazing events like the Sundance Film Festival. As a result of this LA Marathon video, I was contacted by a film producer who wants to use my footage and credit me in his marathon documentary. My response, wow, great, bring it!
Many thanks to the LA Marathon Runners and brave fans yesterday for reminding us of the power of passion. For more Great Love Reports, visit Great Life Great Love, http://greatlifegreatlove.com
