Did Jason Bateman fans know that the once teen star, now all grown up and in just about every movie we see, was so sentimental? We just learned that Bateman is a Justin Bieber fan who actually shed some tears when he watched the Justin Bieber: Never Say Never movie. Bieber thanked Jason Bateman in a tweet for going to see his movie and shared that he too cried when he saw the scene when his father cries.
Jason Bateman and his wife took their 4 year old daughter to see the 3-D Justin Bieber: Never Say Never movie, and when on Regis & Kelly, Bateman admitted to having Bieber Fever. He had to take his 3-D glasses off to wipe his tears, he said. Then he and his wife held each other. Kelly said that she and he husband had the same reaction.
Jason Bateman was a teen heart throb when he appeared as Ricky Schroeder’s best friend in Silver Spoons in the 80’s sitcom. He was also in the Hogan Family and It’s Your Move. Bateman’s fame slowly began to rise when he played Michael Bluth in Arrested Development. For this role, he won a TV Land award, a Golden Globe award and two Satellite awards. He then rose even more in Hollywoord appearing in Juno with Ellen Page and Jennifer Garner, The Breakup with Vince Vaughn and Jennifer Anniston and Up in the Air with George Clooney. Those are just to name a few flicks in which Jason Bateman has shown a great appearance and performance.
Here is what Justin Bieber tweeted about 2 hours ago, “Actor Jason Bateman Cried While Watching the Justin Bieber Movie Never Say Never 3D.” He also tweeted, “@batemanjason thanks 4 seeing the movie. i had the same reaction. the part where my dad cried got me. i never knew until i saw the movie.”
We think that is so sweet. Wonder how many Jason Bateman movies Justin Bieber has seen.
