Have you ever used a coupon code online and felt a little bit of a rush? What about when you’ve handed the cashier at the grocery store a couple of coupons? Did you feel like you beat the system? My friend, you have already have the basic skills needed to become an expert couponista.
Why should you trust my advice? I’m just your average young mother. I have a husband and an infant daughter, who are the lights of my world. We live together in a 2 bedroom apartment in North Austin, in a nice, but low-cost area. We don’t make a lot of money, but we have nice things. By looking at us, you wouldn’t be able to tell that we live on less than $2000/month. What helps us maintain our lifestyle is the fact that we have learned how to buy things for mere pennies on the dollar, using coupons, sales, and freebies.
Every single time that my husband and I go grocery shopping, we save between 70-90% on retail cost. Sometimes, I’ve even been known to walk out of the store with a whole cart full of name-brand items for less than $5. I buy everything that normal people buy: fresh produce, meats, seafood, toiletries, laundry soap, deodorant, toilet paper, shampoo, canned foods, and pet food. Sometimes, I even leave the store with more money in my hand than I started with. The thing that all of my friends ask me every time I tell them about my shopping trips is how do you do it? What is your secret?
What I do is beat the system. I use the tools that the retail industry provides to obtain the maximum return for my money. I’ve developed a method to shop that saves my family thousands of dollars a year. My apartment is overflowing with items that I’ve gotten either for free or nearly nothing. You will come to find, as I have, that shopping for free is fun and exciting.
Over the next articles, I plan to teach you how to shop for free too. By the end of my course, you will have all of the knowledge to outfit your pantry, closet, and self in items that barely cost you anything at all. Some of the items that you will learn to snatch up at rock-bottom prices include:
- Cold medicine and prescriptions
- Cleaning products
- Toilet Paper
- Baby supplies
- Packaged Foods
- Fresh Produce
And that is not even the exhaustive list. Every day, I post up new deals on my website http://www.youngmomsdeals.com/. I plan to teach you how to never spend retail price again.
