1. ENJOY GREAT PHYSICAL SATISFACTION
Great (and regular – more than once a week is incredible) sex is an amazing way to feel satisfied! Sex that doesn’t make you feel guilty after is even better! What makes sex great? An unselfish partner who wants you to be pleased, a “give and take” situation, unselfish participation on your part, and all of the “bells and whistles” you dream about. Be open, and tell your partner what your ultimate great sexual experience would include, the “bells and whistles”. Teach him/her how! Don’t be shy, or you will not get what your body needs. It will definitely relieve your stress!
I don’t think sex is the only component to feeling physically satisfied. Maintaining a healthy lifestyle is so essential. Cut back on the fast food. Cut back tremendously on the carbs and sugar. Exercise at least 30 minutes a day at least 4-5 days a week (get your heart rate up). You will feel the difference. It relieves stress too!
2. GET ENOUGH REST!
I feel like a completely different person on the days that I rest in comparison to how I feel on the days I only get 6 or so hours of sleep. 8 hours always make a difference for me. Waking up in a better mood just starts any day right. While we’re talking about starting the day off right…. (side note) always eat a well-balanced meal each morning!
3. ENJOY A GREAT MEAL
Enjoying a great meal that doesn’t make me feel guilty always puts a smile on my face! I love the miso salmon at the Cheesecake Factory!! Mmmm! I love Japanese food too (although the fried rice and yummy white sauce is probably not the healthist)! Don’t eat it too frequently! An occasional treat from Dairy Queen or Bruster’s always makes my day too!
4. ENJOY A GREAT MOVIE
I love watching good movies!!! My latest favorite movie: Life As We Know It. Awesome! It was funny yet had a beautiful message and plot. I love when I learn something from a movie or am moved and motivated by a movie.
5. ENJOY SOME GREAT “YOU TIME”
Take time for you! Find a quiet place and enjoy your favorite book or favorite song/CD! Paint a picture in your solitude or take a relaxing bubble bath. I am guilty of sometimes forgetting to “love on myself” and have some quiet time.
6. ENJOY A GREAT LAUGH
A good movie, book, or CD could be just the great thing you need! Enjoy the moment. I too often do not live in the moment/present. I find I am sometimes mad about something meaningless from a previous day or anxious about what the future holds. And that will cause one to miss the good things that are happening right now! Laugh whenever you can; it relieves stress and has been proven to improve health. Initiate good conversations with people you care about, and aim to keep the peace (laughter is an awesome avenue for achieving that) wherever you are, especially at home!
6. ENJOY GREAT ACHIEVEMENT
I also love feeling accomplished. I love those days when I check off everything on my to do list. I love feeling like I fulfilled my purpose and behaved in a godly manner most of the day. I love feeling like a positive role model for others. Make it your goal! And share your testimony and accomplishments with others; spread the good news and what works for you!
