Hinder is an American rock band from Oklahoma that was formed in 2001 by drummer Cody Hanson, lead guitarist Joe Garvey, and singer Austin Winkler. Also in the band are, Mark King, rhythm guitar and Mike Rodden on bass.
The band was inducted into the Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame in 2007.
On Friday April 22, 2011, Hinder came to Reno.
The day started off with “Lunch with Hinder” at Sierra Gold in Reno, (which I must say is a great place to have dinner and party). There was a contest sponsored by Rock 104.5 Reno’s Pure Rock, where some lucky winners that are members of “The Rock-a-Holics Club” on their web-site got to watch Hinder play three songs, then eat lunch, take photo’s with the band and get autographs. There was all kinds of pizza, wings, salad and of course beer. The three acoustic songs were, “What Ya Gonna Do”, “Get Stoned” and “Bad Mother Fucker” (pardon my french) It was awesome !!!
You can look at the photo’s in the slideshow.
Now for the show at The KNIT,
