Kraft has introduced a new product to help cooks at home to come up with a restaurant quality sauce in just minutes. Philly Cooking Cremes come in a few different flavors: Savory Garlic, Original, Santa Fe, and Italian Cheese and Herb. There are so many great recipes available on their website, and cooks across the country are also submitting their own ideas for this new Philadelphia Cream Cheese sauce maker.
The Philly Cooking Cremes are a lighter consistency than plain cream cheese, and they are easier to work with. They have also done all the complicated seasoning, so you can just toss it together and enjoy.
While the recipes are varied, many of them involve using frozen boneless chicken breasts, which are a staple in most homes. Kraft is sponsoring a program in cities around the country where the cooking creme is being demonstrated and sampled. They are calling these events “Philadelphia Cooking Creme Fights Chicken Fatigue – 2011 Tour.” While there are no events scheduled in Knoxville, there is one in Atlanta. You can read about the tour here.
Dream of whipping up your own famous sauce
In Knoxville, there are some great opportunities to learn to make sauce on your own. You can attend the University of Tennessee Culinary Institute in Knoxville and come away with the training you need to start a new career. If you feel like you are prevented from pursuing your culinary dreams through economic need, you might consider the Abundant Life Kitchen Culinary Arts Program, an arm of the Knox Area Rescue Ministries. Their program is top notch, also, and they are helping many people turn their lives around and move forward.
