Chelsea Kane took to the Dancing with the Stars floor with a unique angle this week. The week was all about telling a story and the performance tonight from the Disney star had everyone introduced to a new song by the band ‘The Summer Set’’ A song simply called ‘Chelsea’ the music was from a young man who wanted to grab Chelsea Kane’s attention.
The band The Summer Set is a pop-punk band from Scottsdale, Arizona. On Monday night the band is in St Louis and will be on tour for the next several weeks including cities like Los Angeles, Oklahoma City, and Houston. Their song set on stage includes the song performed on Dancing with the Stars tonight.
According to Chelsea Kane, she wanted to perform the Cha Cha Cha to the music to share the story about her boyfriend and how she first met him. Letting everyone know she had heard the song many times before, she expressed that the love story behind it was a wonderful memory that everyone should feel once in their lives.
The Dancing with the Stars judges agreed not only the dance, but the story of the contestant was beautiful. Len Goodman, the head judge admired that the dance was the ‘best’ so far by Kane with Bruno sharing he could feel the ‘excitement.’
With strong scores tonight, the celebrity got a 23 out of 30, but the fans were encouraged to vote this evening if they wanted Chelsea to stay in the competition.
