On Sunday night, Brothers and Sisters aired another all-new episode titled Father Unknown on Channel 15 in Tempe, and this was an intense episode with a lot of secrets involving the Walker family coming to light. Fans were glued to their television screens as the events in this episode unfolded.
The episode focused on two main story lines. The possibility that Brody might be Sarah’s father was the focus, but Kevin and Scotty dealing with the fact that their surrogate had their baby and kept it to herself was another huge part of the drama this week.
As for Sarah, Justin finally tells Nora about Brody’s confession to him, and the rest of the episode is spent with Justin and Nora trying to get a DNA test done. Getting the sample from Sarah without her knowing is the hardest and most comical part of the plot, but they are finally able to do it. The DNA test confirms that Sarah is indeed Brody’s daughter, and that started fans buzzing about her reaction during the episode:
I can’t believe it. I don’t know how Sarah is going to take the news. #Brothersandsisters
Sarah does find out this week, and she takes the news better than expected. She just never wants to see Brody again. That might be difficult because Nora is still in love with him.
The plot surrounded Kevin and Scotty had fans reacting even more. It was revealed that the baby Michelle was seen with is their son, and she is still in Los Angeles. When she contacts Scotty, he tries to make a deal with her. However, Kevin intercepts a phone call and gets into an argument with her that puts Scotty’s plans at risk.
In a shocking development though, Justin arrives at the apartment of Kevin and Scotty with their son. Michelle showed up on his doorstep and left the infant there. This could cause a problem though with their newly adopted daughter Olivia. Fans on Twitter had the following to say about the events surrounding this storyline for Kevin and Scotty on Sunday night:
Scotty and Kevin are such a wonderful couple and this Michelle twist is rough to watch!
Amazing acting again by Matthew Rhys and Luke Macfarlane. #BrothersandSisters
Matthew Rhys, the actor behind Kevin Walker, also directed this week’s episode. Fans on Twitter had nothing but praise for Father Unknown:
Dear cast members of #BrothersandSisters ; you are freakin’ brilliant. Wow. Made that so intense, so great. This is nuts.
There is never a dull moment among the Walkers and I love it! #BrothersandSisters
Wow, #BrothersandSisters does it again. I know the season finale is coming, but I don’t even want to think about it. Love Kevin and Scotty.
